Luvier casali

Luvier Casali (Paraguay)

Founding member of the Open It Collective. He studied art in Paraguay, Spain and
France. His teachers include Edith Jiménez, Olga Blinder, and Carlo Spatuzza.
He participated in workshops of the artists Nury González, Oscar Manesi, Jean-Michel Vaillant and
Alfonso Crujera. For two years he worked as a teacher at the Engraving Workshop
from the Higher Institute of Art of Asunción, Paraguay.


He obtained the Henri Matisse prize among other mentions and awards.
Represented Paraguay in the Biennials of Belgium, France, Portugal and Brazil.
He has participated in exhibitions in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Cuba, Mexico, Spain,
Italy, China and the United States. His work is in the public collections of Le
Ring Artoteca de Nantes, the Coruña Engraving Arts Museum Foundation, and in
the Wanda Svevo Historical Archive of the São Paulo Biennial Foundation.
